Thanks for catching that.

Thanks also for the sympathy. As for writing something other than EMC, I'd have to find something that inspired me; I don't have the ability that some other authors have to just churn out content on demand. It'd be nice if I did. ;-/

Anyway, I'll probably have "My Very Own Serial Number" out this weekend, with what I think is a suitably attention-grabbing cover. Next after that will be a "Choose Your Own Adventure" story. You heard it here first. ;-)thrallhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01228794853493421326noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-540840190634112721.post-23231594275840887102014-04-29T20:54:00.267-04:002014-04-29T20:54:00.267-04:00Just fyi, your Amazon link doesn't work. E...I would also echo the second edition
statement.

E-Books from my non-professional view are a long term wait-and-see experience. As you publish more you'll tend to have more views in your previous work and thus sales may rise.

Though in many cases they do not. It happens to thousands of authors and some of them have dozens of work under their belt.

I would say have patience, don't be discouraged by sales numbers because it's the same as fine art in my opinion, there is an audience out there, it just may take time for them to find you.

Have you considered writing a non-erotic mc short or full length e-book to have that be a lure for erotic stories?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-540840190634112721.post-52396667360620847012014-04-29T06:30:52.357-04:002014-04-29T06:30:52.357-04:00Thanks for the feedback. It makes me feel a little better. :-/

I didn't think about taking down the first edition; I actually imagined it increase my chance of sales...although Amazon combined them on its own without my asking for that. Well, I'll take down the Smashwords one, then.

I totally understand about not being able to post a review on Amazon. I know most people can do that, but I'd appreciate it if you'd just click around among my books a little to help generate some "people who viewed this also viewed this" connections.

Thanks again for taking the time to comment. :-)thrallhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01228794853493421326noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-540840190634112721.post-23727299194638291502014-04-28T18:10:48.292-04:002014-04-28T18:10:48.292-04:00Second editions are rough - they don't produce...Second editions are rough - they don't produce a sales bump like first editions do, in my experience. And I suspect the giveaway here meant that few people paid for the upgrade.

You might remove the basic edition from sale to reduce confusion? I suspect two editions is going to lose you sales as opposed to gain them.

Sorry I can't offer a review - I don't have an Amazon account that's not linked to my real name.

-AaronhaltAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
