Does the thought of one woman controlling another woman's mind thrill you beyond measure? Do your favorite dreams come wrapped in latex or rubber? How do you feel about robots? Here I am. I'm waiting.
I have found myself "Pleasantly" surprised with your story,i loved it how in chapter 2, how Paul, converted his wife Shara, completely to obedience to the General, i found that to be very satisfying, Although i don't like conversion stories through drugs, this one puts one in the mindset of INVASION OF THE BODYSNACTHERS, except instead of pods, its used with drugs that converts your whole DNA...good work, keep the stories coming..your fan THEANTJACK...
So let me see if I'm getting the way dreamer works down properly. The drug works through epigentic thing of sending signals to turn off certain genes that cause a persons mind to function at a low enough level that the chip in their head basically runs their body with occasional input from the main mind. That about right?
Yes, K, that's about right. Dreamer introduces a new dominant trait that causes catatonia, while leaving the victims' minds otherwise intact. That way, they have no will to resist whatever prompting comes from their chips. Waker can't remove the trait entirely, but it makes it recessive rather than dominant. I put a lot of thought into this, but I'm not sure how much is apparent in my final draft, so I'm glad to have the chance to explain in detail. ;-)

Thanks! I'm actually a fan of Bodysnatchers myself, although my story isn't meant to evoke that one. :-)

Looking forward to the next part.
