It's nice to be missed :-)

Thanks, Tabico and Elizabeth, for letting me know I was missed! Let me see if I can return the favor for you and everyone else who follows my blog.

The lovely ladies in this set are Bellefast (redhead) and Courtney Cruz (black hair), and the photographer is Michael Helms. He's been rolling out images from this photo shoot on his Deviant Art gallery for the last several days. I don't know if he's finished or not, but you should check out his gallery regardless because he's just that good.

As for the models, Bellefast's DA gallery is here and her Model Mayhem gallery is here, while Courtney Cruz's Model Mayhem gallery is here.

Yowza

At right is Ulorin Vex, sporting the latest from kinky corset designer Bibian Blue. This appears to be part of the newest BB collection, which isn't available online yet as far as I can tell. But there are plenty of other goodies in their Model Mayhem gallery, including several featuring Masuimi Max. I know some of you out there kind of like her. ;-P

Scar13 color-coordinates with a friend

For most of my readers, the lady at right needs no introduction, but here's a helpful tip for the rest of you: she's Scar13, and she's just as gorgeous with clothes as without. But fortunately for all of you today, this particular photo-set is nude only. ;-)

The photographer for the set is Michael Helms, a man who never gets tired of telling the world how much he loves Scar. He photographs a lot of other beautiful women, too - and never fails to make them even more beautiful. You can visit his gallery on Deviant Art to see more - lots more.

Scar doesn't have a Deviant Art gallery gallery of her own, but you can find a multitude of her pictures in other Deviant Artists' galleries just by doing a DA search on her name.

As for her lovely color-coordinating friend, she goes by the name of Velocity, and she has a gallery on Model Mayhem. You might laugh to hear me say this, but I really love her face. ;-)

Veiled Suggestions

There's something about veils....

As many of you know, in Western culture, brides traditionally wore veils to show they were under someone's authority: first their fathers' (thus their fathers walking them down the aisle), then their husbands'. Looked at another way, the brides weren't meant for everyone to see; they were meant to be enjoyed by their "owners" alone. The Bible also says women should weir veils over their heads as a symbol of authority - not a symbol of their own authority, but of God's authority over them. Of course, no such command is given to men. ;-/

But enough of the pedantry. When a model wears a veil a certain way, I can imagine that she's not really an individual anymore, not under her own control. Just as her face is obscured, her voice is obscured. Her mind is obscured. She has become less than a person, more of a possession. A body half-seen, half hidden, with just enough mind left to obey her owner's commands.

The photographer Mastertouch seems to get this, posing a lot of models under veils in ways that make them look like slaves, MC'ed or otherwise. The picture above is by him, and here are six more - one with bonus gas mask. The last of the six is his favorite model Meluxine; the others are women you probably don't know by name...which is, of course, entirely in keeping with my subject. ;-)

Now here are three models you do know by name. From left to right, we have Ulorin Vex photographed by Lorraine Gilligan, Angela Ryan photographed by Laura Dark, and Apnea photographed by Lithium Picnic. Interestingly enough, on Deviant Art, Ulorin Vex titled the photograph of her "Broken Bride." I can look at her hollow eyes and imagine this is the final step in a long, long process of brainwashing that resulted in her permanent, formal binding to her Mistress.

Now here's a collection of random photos I've collected from Model Mayhem over the last few years. You might or might not have heard of these people, but I believe in proper attribution of images, and anyway you might want to look them up and find more of their work.

First up is Aria Lee, photographed by sideshowsito, whose work I've featured before on this blog. Next is Sindel Chaos by Chad Michael Ward, and then we have someone or other photographed by artographic.

Lastly, here are Miss Mourning, someone or other photographed by Uberdog, and Felice Fawn.

I hope you've enjoyed this tour through the twisted passages of my mind, and that you'll come back for more.

This is that: Sacrifice...or preparation?

What is it about splaying women on top of grave monuments or in other poses that suggest they're about to become (or already have become) victims of some ritual? Whatever it is, I find it hot as hell, and I hope you do too. Here are a few of my favorite examples of the phenomenon.

At left is a series of photos I found on Nick Santoso's gallery at Model Mayhem. Note not only the woman on the gravestone at the end, but also the woman just above her, who looks like a third bride who got edited out of Big Trouble in Little China. All she's missing are the white eyes.

Just below are shots from Natalie Lines, the Yerbury Studios website, and Nicholas Taylor.

Now here are images from Draconian Artworks, Luis Royo, and Nic Marchant.

Lastly, here's one from Matt Hoyle that makes me think the Sleeping Beauty story would make a damn fine EMC piece. Maybe one day....

***Unless otherwise attributed, all images above come from either Model Mayhem or Deviant Art.***

These are a few of my favorite things: JessiKa Violet

I have to admit, I've always had a thing for dreadlocks. Unfortunately, I'm a little old (not to mention a little white) to wear them properly. A Native American, on the other hand, can apparently get away with dreads just fine...especially when she dyes them fuchsia.

Meet JessiKa Violet. Yes, that really is how she spells it. She has a fantastic look; and like most of the folks I enjoy, she has galleries with more pictures on both Model Mayhem and Deviant Art.

The pic above is by W. Forrest Photography, and so is the first pic in the row below. After that are photos by Cool Hand Luke (where JessiKa is wearing Ego Assassin) and Nick Perks.

Next up are shots from Roperookie (where she's wearing Vile Sindustry), sideshowsito, and Roperookie again.

Lastly, here's another shot from sideshowsito and two shots from Vincent Lions in which JessiKa is modeling Ego Assassin again.

***As usual, all models, photographers, and latex designers in this post have their own galleries on Model Mayhem and/or Deviant Art.***
