Veiled Suggestions

There's something about veils....

As many of you know, in Western culture, brides traditionally wore veils to show they were under someone's authority: first their fathers' (thus their fathers walking them down the aisle), then their husbands'. Looked at another way, the brides weren't meant for everyone to see; they were meant to be enjoyed by their "owners" alone. The Bible also says women should weir veils over their heads as a symbol of authority - not a symbol of their own authority, but of God's authority over them. Of course, no such command is given to men. ;-/

But enough of the pedantry. When a model wears a veil a certain way, I can imagine that she's not really an individual anymore, not under her own control. Just as her face is obscured, her voice is obscured. Her mind is obscured. She has become less than a person, more of a possession. A body half-seen, half hidden, with just enough mind left to obey her owner's commands.

The photographer Mastertouch seems to get this, posing a lot of models under veils in ways that make them look like slaves, MC'ed or otherwise. The picture above is by him, and here are six more - one with bonus gas mask. The last of the six is his favorite model Meluxine; the others are women you probably don't know by name...which is, of course, entirely in keeping with my subject. ;-)

Now here are three models you do know by name. From left to right, we have Ulorin Vex photographed by Lorraine Gilligan, Angela Ryan photographed by Laura Dark, and Apnea photographed by Lithium Picnic. Interestingly enough, on Deviant Art, Ulorin Vex titled the photograph of her "Broken Bride." I can look at her hollow eyes and imagine this is the final step in a long, long process of brainwashing that resulted in her permanent, formal binding to her Mistress.

Now here's a collection of random photos I've collected from Model Mayhem over the last few years. You might or might not have heard of these people, but I believe in proper attribution of images, and anyway you might want to look them up and find more of their work.

First up is Aria Lee, photographed by sideshowsito, whose work I've featured before on this blog. Next is Sindel Chaos by Chad Michael Ward, and then we have someone or other photographed by artographic.

Lastly, here are Miss Mourning, someone or other photographed by Uberdog, and Felice Fawn.

I hope you've enjoyed this tour through the twisted passages of my mind, and that you'll come back for more.

These are a few of my favorite things: eggs and pods

What is it about women being stored in and/or hatching from eggs and pods? They're pretty much a staple of mind control erotica, and the doubly-talented William Lee provides one excellent example at left here. But plenty of (as far as I know) non-EMC-fetishists take up the subject themselves. I don't see what they get out of it, unless it's just the alienness. *shrug* Whatever it is, I don't mind a bit. Let me show you a few of my favorites.

First, a bit of artwork. Here's a stuntkid piece flanked by two Boris Vallejo paintings.

And now, just to prove it can be done (well, sort of), here are two photos of Kumi Monster taken by Chris Young (left) and Fetish Live (right), an Angela Ryan shot by Stephen McClure, and below them a couple of pics from the Hart-Worx website.

Yes, I featured the Hart-Worx images once before, but you don't really mind seeing them again, do you? ;-P

These Are a Few of my Favorite Things: When Animals Attack

For this this post in the "My Favorite Things" series, I've tried to pull together some pictures of animal-themed MC - or, at least, pictures that could be construed as animal-themed MC by the right sort of fetishist. Oddly enough, though, I didn't find as many pics in my collection as I thought I would. I suppose that's probably because most models don't like to work with animals. ;-) But there's always artwork, right? So enjoy these images and take comfort in the fact that, in the process of browsing for animal-MC shots, I came up with a boatload of images to use for my "Supernatural Seduction" post somewhere down the line!

Above is an illustration by the delightfully warped stuntkid - an illustration large enough for you to use as desktop wallpaper, if you're that delightfully warped. Now here are a few more by stuntkid:

Next, here are some tentacular delights from (left to right) DVS, Hajime Sorayama, and Ashley Stuart. Oh, and if you think I've posted some of these images before, you're right...but you can't tell me you really mind, can you? ;-p

Lastly, we have two shots by Draconian Artworks flanking a shot of Angela Ryan - the one bigshot fetish model who isn't afraid to pose with scary-looking animals! And yep, you might have seen this pic here, too. It's by photographer WDR.

EDIT: Oh, and how could I possibly have forgotten this mind-blowing shot of Nastassja Kinski and the luckiest snake on the planet? Mea culpa. Mea maxima culpa.

These Are a Few of My Favorite Things: Redheads

Really, I just do not understand the problem that some people have with redheads. I think they're sexy as hell - and that includes red carpet as well as red curtains.

Yes, this is another of those themed posts I promised you a couple of weeks ago. You'll see plenty of familiar faces here - and by that I mean faces familiar to my blog readers and faces that are familiar, period. But I've tried to gather some pictures of them that you might not have seen before, and I've mixed things up with a few unknowns models, as well as a few pinkhairs.

Above is my favorite pic of Miss Conduct, shot by Stephen McClure.

Below, from left to right, are Scar13 by Adam Robertson, Eden Marie Muse by Allan Amato and Angela Ryan by Underhill.

Next up are Ulorin Vex by Damian McGillicuddy, JessiKa Violet (Yes, that's how she writes it) by V. Lions, and Bellefast by Michael Helms (with Pixie in the background).

Now here are Ivory Flame by Jaycee Photos and Skin by Matt Christie.

And here are three unknown, pink-haired cuties photographed by (left to right) Jeffery Scott, Bilbytron (for Meschantes Coutures), and Steve Prue.

And of course, I'm well aware that everyone's heads would explode if I didn't include a picture of Bianca Beauchamp. So take a deep breath and relax: here she is, in one of my favorite sets from my brief subscription to the Latex Lair. I'll bet those boots alone took half an hour to put on, eh? But they're so worth it!

Tread softly because you tread on my dreams

"But I, being poor, have only my dreams. I have spread my dreams under your feet. Tread softly because you tread on my dreams."

Yeah, I'm one of those tasteless geeks who loved Equilibrium, but I'm also literate enough to know the quote above originated with William Butler Yeats, so maybe you'll cut me a little slack. Besides, that quote sums up the topic of today's post so nicely that I couldn't not use it.

I'm here to talk about dreams again, but this time it's waking dreams rather than sleeping dreams. Fantasies.

I'm not sure where I first discovered Angela Ryan. Maybe Deviant Art, maybe Model Mayhem, maybe somewhere else. I was immediately taken by her beauty and the sauciness of her expression. I started collecting pictures of her, eventually enough that I decided to have a look at her official website. And that's where reality set in.

Angela Ryan, in case you aren't already aware of this, is basically a porn star. I wasn't aware of this because I'd been collecting pictures from places like Deviant Art and Model Mayhem. I'd developed this mental image of her as a sexy/cool woman with a penchant for vintage clothing and occasional mild kink. I had not developed an image of her as a person who says things like, "I love the sexy way the latex rubs against my nipples. It makes me so hot." (Yes, I know she almost certainly doesn't write the site content herself, but work with me here).

From my very first forays into latex erotica, I've been steering away from the naked crotch shots and other truly X-rated material. I never thought much about why, except that naked crotch shots just seemed so...crass. Like bad boob jobs. On the other hand, I love shots, like the one above, that look pretty damn kinky (not to mention pretty damn phallic) but don't seem to involve actual pain. Pain is a huge turnoff for me...well, unless the subject is so deeply brainwashed that s/he doesn't notice it. But that's not what I'm talking about right now.

What I'm talking about is that I seem to have built some pretty elaborate fantasies around the models I like, and I didn't even notice I was doing it. At some deep level, I must have been imagining they were the kind of people I'd like to date or, failing that, at least to hang out with. I don't want to imagine them as stupid, or addicts, or proto-prostitutes hardened to every sex act our species ever discovered.

Writing it out this way, I see clearly how naive I've been. Then again, I saw that the moment I laid eyes on Angela Ryan's website. But I'm going to pretend I didn't see it, and I'm also going to pretend I'm not naive. After all, imagination is my online trade. How many of my fantasies are posted on the EMCSA already? How many more do I have in me? For me, inventing stories is almost as easy as breathing.

They say each of us has a whole world inside her or his head, and I'm making the most of mine.
