May I ask a favor? I promise it's an easy one.

No sob stories (I could give you one, but I won't because you probably have your own), but Sleepwalkers Deluxe did not have the opening week I needed it to have. Not wanted - needed. I know most of the people who read this blog have also read the novel, so I'd really appreciate it if you'd post some reviews on Amazon and/or Smashwords. Or if you're not able to do that, please at least follow the link to Amazon and click around between my books to create some "People who viewed Book A also viewed Book B" links.

I hate to ask this of you, but I kind of have to. Thanks for understanding.

Second editions are rough - they don't produce a sales bump like first editions do, in my experience. And I suspect the giveaway here meant that few people paid for the upgrade.

You might remove the basic edition from sale to reduce confusion? I suspect two editions is going to lose you sales as opposed to gain them.

Sorry I can't offer a review - I don't have an Amazon account that's not linked to my real name.

Thanks for the feedback. I didn't think about second editions in general being problematic. It makes me feel a little better. :-/

I didn't think about taking down the first edition; I actually imagined it increase my chance of sales...although Amazon combined them on its own without my asking for that. Well, I'll take down the Smashwords one, then.

I totally understand about not being able to post a review on Amazon. I know most people can do that, but I'd appreciate it if you'd just click around among my books a little to help generate some "people who viewed this also viewed this" connections.

Thanks again for taking the time to comment. :-)

I would also echo the second edition

E-Books from my non-professional view are a long term wait-and-see experience. As you publish more you'll tend to have more views in your previous work and thus sales may rise.

Though in many cases they do not. It happens to thousands of authors and some of them have dozens of work under their belt.

I would say have patience, don't be discouraged by sales numbers because it's the same as fine art in my opinion, there is an audience out there, it just may take time for them to find you.

Have you considered writing a non-erotic mc short or full length e-book to have that be a lure for erotic stories?

Just fyi, your Amazon link doesn't work. And, um, better wishes/hopes for whatever the story is that you're not telling.

Okay, I've just fixed the Amazon link, so it's active now. Thanks for catching that.

Thanks also for the sympathy. As for writing something other than EMC, I'd have to find something that inspired me; I don't have the ability that some other authors have to just churn out content on demand. It'd be nice if I did. ;-/

Anyway, I'll probably have "My Very Own Serial Number" out this weekend, with what I think is a suitably attention-grabbing cover. Next after that will be a "Choose Your Own Adventure" story. You heard it here first. ;-)

I left some reviews hope that helps.
You have my attention with new books.

Thank you very much, K. I know the reviews will help, and I appreciate your taking the time to write them. :-)
